“The Prime Minister will place a wreath at the National Memorial at 10:00am,” Shayrul Kabir Khan.
After paying tribute at the memorial, Tarique Rahman is scheduled to return and begin official work at the Prime Minister’s Office in the Cabinet Division at the Secretariat around 12:30pm.
On his first working day, he will hold a special meeting with cabinet members. He is also expected to exchange views with secretaries and senior officials.
The Prime Minister will take part in an introductory meeting with officials of the Cabinet Division. After the discussion, he will have lunch at the Secretariat.
Later in the afternoon, at 3:00pm, he will chair a special cabinet meeting.
Earlier in the day, Tarique Rahman took oath as Prime Minister along with 25 ministers and 24 state ministers at the South Plaza of the Parliament Building.
